Your Garden Nerd Proposal — Matt

Hi Matt, here's what we'll do for your backyard trees & shrubs.

What this changes for you

A backyard that looks alive. Not just watered.

Phoenix soil usually isn't missing nutrients, it's holding onto the ones it has. High pH, salt buildup, and years of synthetic fertilizer use lock nutrients up chemically so plants can't actually access them, no matter how well you water.

Feeding the soil biologically unlocks what's already there. Once that biology wakes back up, roots go deeper, your trees and shrubs push fuller growth, and the whole system starts working with you instead of against you, underground, on its own, visit after visit.

"Your soil isn't dead. It's locked up."
Our job is to unlock it, rebuilding the biology that makes the nutrients already there available to your backyard trees and shrubs again.
What you'll notice

Fuller, healthier growth in the backyard

01

Fuller, healthier growth

Trees and shrubs that are actually being fed put on fuller, denser growth instead of the sparse, stressed look that comes from soil that isn't giving them much to work with.

02

Better color and vitality

Consistent feeding shows up as richer green color and more vigorous new growth through the season.

03

Easier to maintain over time

Healthy, well-fed plants handle heat stress and pest pressure better on their own, which means less firefighting for you down the road.

Worth knowing upfront: this isn't instant

Rebuilding soil biology is a gradual process. Each visit builds on the last, so you'll see steady, compounding improvement in the backyard over time rather than a dramatic change after the first visit.

While we're back there

A few shade tree ideas for the backyard

Outside of the fertilizing scope, but worth mentioning since we'll already be back there regularly: a shade tree or two would go a long way in that backyard. Here are three solid options.

Red push pistache tree

Red Push Pistache

Easy, low-issue tree with a broad spreading crown. New leaves come in with a red tint and mature to green, then turn red, orange, and yellow in fall. Loses its leaves in winter.

Tipu tree

Tipu Tree

Fast growing, reaching 40 to 50 feet in just a few years. Showy flowers and full, lush foliage if you want a bigger canopy sooner rather than later.

Chinese elm tree

Chinese Elm

Fast growing and low maintenance. Loses its leaves for a short stretch in winter, sometimes not even all of them.
